Important Update

SummerPreview, Appalachian’s academic and residential summer program for entering freshmen, which has traditionally combined US 1150 Freshman Seminar with another freshman course, will not be offered in summer 2008. We have decided to take this year to research new possibilities for summer programs that will be more closely aligned with several University initiatives, including a revised general education curriculum and a proposed first year seminar that would replace the current freshman seminar. Newly developed summer programs will be offered in summer 2009.
